Algeria recalls ambassador to Ivory Cost for “consultations”

aps.dz.- Algeria has decided to recall its ambassador to Ivory Cost for “consultations”, following the declarations of the Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the opening of an alleged consulate of his country in the occupied city of El Aaiun, Western Sahara, said Thursday a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to recall, for consultations, the Ambassador of Algeria to Ivory Cost, following the cryptic and insidious statements made by the Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the opening of an alleged consulate of Ivory Cost to El Aaiun, in Western Sahara “, specifies the same source, noting that this opening” comes in defiance of the principles and objectives enshrined in the constitutive act of the African Union, in particular the imperative of unity and of solidarity between the peoples of Africa and the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of the member countries of the Union.
