Communiqué

In the early hours of today, the Moroccan occupation forces opened three breaches east of the illegal Guerguerat breach. Therefore, the Saharawi government considers that this breach permanently violates the ceasefire agreement between the two parties in the 1991 conflict.

Today Friday, November 13, 2020, in the early hours of the morning, the Moroccan state of occupation made a final announcement of the violation of the ceasefire by involving a group of plainclothes thugs in an attack on Sahrawi civilians who they were protesting peacefully against the illegal Guerguerat breach, and even more dangerous, their armed forces crossed the wall of shame near the breach to circumvent and surround the area.

Our People’s Liberation Army responded to this despicable and desperate act, while our civilians faced the thugs.

In the end, the battles began and the war imposed on our people broke out, and with it we entered a new and decisive stage in the struggle of our proud people, defending their legitimate right to freedom, dignity and sovereignty.

Consequently, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguia El Hamra and Río de  Oro calls on all the Saharawi people to unite with the required firmness and usual courage in response to the brutal aggression; and complete the liberation of the occupied homeland with all the sacrifices and generosity that it requires by following the path of our martyrs.

Glory and eternity to our martyrs
