Congratulations on the 45th anniversary of the proclamation of Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic

February 27, 2021 marks the 45th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, which is a member of the African Union and recognized by dozens of countries.

The Saharawi people have been fighting for decades to fulfill their right to self-determination, in accordance with and respecting the principles of the UN Charter, international law and the numerous pertinent United Nations resolutions, namely Resolution 1514 of their General Assembly establishing the right colonized peoples to self-determination and independence.
