As every year, the village Copains du Monde, located on the Taulet farm in Gravelines near Dunkirk, receives groups of children from all over the world during the summer holidays.

This August, 300 children were welcomed, including some thirty Saharawi children and their monitors. Their place remains central this year, especially as the SADR Ministry of Youth has chosen to send to France several sons and daughters of military personnel, fallen in combat or victims of Moroccan drones, since the resumption of the war in November 2020.

Sidemhamed Ahmed, Polisario Front Deputy in France, in charge of the Saharawi diaspora, and Régine Villemont, President of AARASD, were able to take part for two days in the activities and joyful dynamics of this extraordinary solidarity camp. They both salute the commitment of Christian Hogard, President of this Village, and his teams, who for so many years have been implementing this solidarity without frontiers, which gives full scope to refugees and migrants.

The SADR flags have flown during the last two days around Gravelines, and will be flown during the next three days in Paris, as the Saharawi children and all their friends will be there to visit the French capital.
