Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), January 24, 2023 (SPS) – The Sahrawi government expressed its condemnation of the Moroccan repressive practices to which the Sahrawi human rights delegation that took part in the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front was subjected to, upon its return to the occupied territories of Western Sahara.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Information, the Sahrawi government expressed its strong condemnation of these practices and gross violations by the Moroccan occupation state against defenseless Sahrawi civilians, which confiscates their legitimate rights to express their positions and their legitimate attachment to the application of the requirements of international legitimacy in Western Sahara, especially decolonization.

The government expressed its solidarity and support to the members of the Sahrawi human rights delegation, on behalf of the entire Saharawi people, reaffirming that the just struggle of the Saharawi people will continue, in all its locations, including the occupied Sahrawi territories, and by all legitimate means, in accordance with the Charter and resolutions of the United Nations, and in implementation of the decisions of the Sixteenth Congress of the Polisario Front, until the completion of the sovereignty of the Sahrawi Republic over its entire national territory.
