LISBON – APS.dz .-Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa said on Tuesday in Lisbon that his country respects and supports the UN resolutions on the Western Sahara issue.
In a joint statement to the press with the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at the end of their talks, President de Sousa said that his country’s position “is constant, Portugal respects and supports the role of the United Nations and its resolutions on the Western Sahara issue, as well as working to achieve the principles of democracy in this matter.
