Bir Lehlu (Saharawi Republic), September 09, 2023 (SPS) – The Saharawi government has conveyed its sincere condolences to the Moroccan people for the victims of the earthquake that struck Marrakech on Friday, killing thousands of people and injuring others, in addition to incalculable material damage.
The Saharawi Government in a statement issued by the Ministry of Information of the Saharawi Republic, expresses its support and solidarity to the families who have lost their loved ones as a result of this catastrophe.
The Saharawi people expresses to the brotherly Moroccan people, in these difficult circumstances, its support and prayers for the thousands of victims of the devastating earthquake.
With regard to the slight aftershocks of the earthquake that struck the Moroccan city of Marrakech, the Saharawi Government informs that the Dignity Camps and the Liberated Territories of the Saharawi Arab Republic have not suffered any damage and have not suffered any casualties or loss of housing or infrastructure.
