Mohamed Bani, Saharawi political prisoner without adequate medical care

PUSL.- Mr. Bani, Sahrawi political prisoners of the Gdeim Izik Group, who went on hunger strike for 14 days in March, which aggravated his already precarious health, since he was placed in solitary confinement as punishment, has not yet received appropriate medical attention.

The hunger strike ended after a meeting with the Regional Delegate of the General Delegation for Administration of Penitentiaries and Social Reintegration, when he was promised a transfer to Bouzakarn Prison, with authorization for family visits 4 days a week and two weekly phone calls.

These promises have not been fulfilled and Mr Bani remains in the same situation.

Ms. Bani and her five children traveled to Ait Melloul prison to visit him.
His French lawyer, Maitre Ouled, told us that she had sent a fax to the director of the Ait Melloul prison on the basis of article 75 of the Dahir n ° 1-99-200 of 13 joumada I 1420 (Moroccan law), which authorizes and regulates family visits .
