MEP Paloma López (GUE / NGL) asks Morgherini about the situation of Saharawi political prisoners

PUSL.- The MEP Paloma López (GUE / NGL) has presented two questions with a written request to the Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, on the situation of the Saharawi political prisoners from the Gdeim Izik group, Sidi Abdallah Abbahah, Mohamed Bourial, Mohamed Lamin Haddi and El Bachir Khadda.

The prisoners in question are being held in the Moroccan prison of Tiflet 2, being victims of continuous I’ll treatment by prison officials and confinement in punishment cells for 22 or 23 hours a day, as has already been reported on several occasions by PUSL. Read more

The Candidate Countries the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia*, Montenegro*, Serbiaand Albania*, the country of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, align themselves with this statement.
