Saharawi women the personification of the values of the 8th of March
PUSL.- The porunsaharalibre (PUSL) team welcomes all the women of the World on the day that marks the struggle for the dignity and equality of Women.
In particular, we salute the Saharawi women who throughout their people’s history have emphasized their fundamental role not only in preserving values, traditions, history and the transmission of knowledge, but they are also an essential part and perhaps even the pillar of resistance against the invader.
Women who stand out not only in refugee camps, home builders in exile, and daily resistance in the occupied territories but also in the international stages, voices of their people that they represent with dignity and professionalism as members of the legitimate representation of the Saharawi people the Polisario Front and the government of SADR (Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic).
Saharawi women have assumed their functions for more than 4 decades, in a constant challenge, carried out professions such as doctors, teachers, lawyers, demining technicians, journalists, camera woman, nurses, soldiers, chemists and on the political level on all fronts from the base administration of the neighborhood to ministers and ambassadors.
In a context of war, in the context of conflict, in the last colony of Africa, the occupied territories, the liberated territories, refugee camps, diaspora and the world, Saharawi women are the symbol of resilience, resistance, honor and dignity.
A special greeting to all the mothers, wives, daughters and sisters of the Saharawi political prisoners and the victims of forced disappearance.
To them, Saharawi women, we reaffirm our solidarity on this day, we do not offer them flowers because they are the flowers of the desert, which survive in inhospitable and aggressive conditions and yet flourish in all their natural beauty. We offer our promise here to denounce the violations committed by the Moroccan occupier against the Saharawi women and people.
