YOKOHAMA (Japan) – President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) Brahim Ghali arrived in Yokohama (Japan) yesterday Tuesday in Tokyo to participate in the 7th International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7).
President Ghali is accompanied by a large Saharawi delegation composed of the Foreign Minister, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, of the Saharawi ambassador in Ethiopia, the permanent representative of the SADR to the African Union, Lamine Baali, and the president’s advisor. Badati Breica.
In addition to his participation in this Conference, scheduled for August 28 and 30, President Ghali will hold several meetings with African leaders.
The TICAD 7 conference, organized at the initiative of the Japanese government jointly with the UN, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the African Union Commission (AUC) and the World Bank, is a international consultation forum for the development of the African continent.
