The Moroccan occupation judiciary issues unfair sentences against a group of Saharawi activists
PUSL.- The second chamber of the Court of Appeal in the occupied city of El Aaiun on Tuesday, 05 November 2019, issued harsh sentences against a group of Sahrawi activists who were arrested in connection with the celebrations of Algerian victory in the African Cup 19 July 2019.
The sentences imposed yesterday ranged from six months to one year. The verdicts were as follows: Hafez al-Hassan al-Habib, Kai Dahi al-Hadik, Mohamed Ali Sidi Tlemizi, Rugbi Sayed El Yazid and Salik Najem Ibrahim received a one year sentence, Sufian Hassan Salik, Jalil Arbi Mahdi, Abdelrahman Mohammed Laroussi and Hafiz Mohammed Sofi a six months sentence.
Several other participants in the celebrations of the Algerian victory are still being searched by the police who is detaining daily people that were filmed by the moroccan authorities on July 19 2019.
