For the fifty-second consecutive day, the Saharawi political prisoner, Mohamed Lamine Haddi, continues his hunger strike and his fate is unknown for the twelfth consecutive day.
The director of the prison “Mohammad Al-Boushiti” claims that the Saharawi political prisoner, Mohamed Lamine Haddi, is not on a hunger strike. The Penitentiary delegation also affirms this, alleging in a note that the family of this prisoner wishes to violate the precautionary measures against the corona virus. We inform that the family of Mohamed Lamine spent a year without going to the prison of Tiflet 2 to visit their son, out of respect for precautionary health measures. When this family came to prison, they wore a mask and had a sterilizer. This staging is nothing more than a scheme and a lie with which the Moroccan regime justifies its actions, and the National Council for Human Rights of Morocco did not take long to align itself in the same wave of lies, declaring that a team from the same council visited the Saharawi political prisoner, Mohamed Lamine, who is in good health, enjoys all his rights and is not on strike.
Therefore, as the family of the Saharawi political prisoner Mohamed Lamine, we refute all these allegations and false statements against our family, our son and our rights.
_ We also assure the public that our son breathes his last breath at the mercy of the executioner, “Muhammad Al-Boushiti” if he is still alive, and if he is dead, they are hiding the truth.
_ Is it conceivable that the mother of the Saharawi political prisoner, Mohamed Lamine Haddi, is deprived of seeing him but they allow a team from the CNDH to visit him?
_ If Mohamed Lamine Haddi was in good health as they claim, then as a family we demand an urgent and immediate visit by an independent medical team to the political prisoner, Mohamed Lamine Haddi
_ As indicated in the statement that a team from the council visited Mohamed Lamine in his cell, this is the best proof that he is in a very critical situation to a point that he cannot move, which forced the team to go to his cell.
_ Finally, we assure the public that our son’s fate has been unknown for twelve days and that he has been on a hunger strike for the fifty-second consecutive day and that he has none of his legitimate rights ratified by the Moroccan state with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights because he suffers from racial discrimination and mistreatment by the prison director, “Muhammad Al-Boushiti”, which deprives him of reading and healthcare, and according to his last contact with us he was suffering from various illnesses (stomach, kidneys, asthma, enuresis) and said that his body odor was unbearable, he can hardly breathe because of the severity of the polluted air.
_Therefore, we again ask to organize an urgent visit by a specialized and independent medical team to the cell of the Saharawi political prisoner Mohamed Lamine Haddi, and to inspect his state of health, because he is on the verge of death.
_ We ask the Moroccan state to reveal the fate of our son who has been unknown for twelve days
our call on the International Red Cross, the international community, all human rights organizations and all living consciences, to intervene urgently and immediately to protect Saharawi civilians and save the life of Mohamed Lamine Hadi if he is still alive.
