voicenews.gr.- Developments in QatarGate are swift as, according to MegaTV, the lifting of the immunity of three more MEPs from the Party of European Socialists appears to be a matter of hours.
According to MegaTV, these are Maria Arena, Andrea Cozzolino and Marc Tarabella. As for the checks carried out on these three people, the Belgian authorities searched their offices but not their homes, as in the case of Eva Kaili, since this is a particularly lengthy procedure.
It should be noted that Maria Arenas has very close relations with Eva Kaili and they were even seen having coffee together the day before the arrest of the Greek MEP.
Scandal with Morocco
Speaking to OPEN magazine, former Socialist Party MP Ana Gómez warned that MaroccoGate was coming.
“Panchery addressed me as someone very interested in defending the rights and positions of Morocco,” the former MP said when asked if she knew Panchery and had any idea what kind of person he was.
Gómez then added: “There were others who accompanied him, but he was undoubtedly the most cunning, slippery and persistent. On this issue we disagreed and I could sense that this involvement was not normal, it was not a matter of opinion, he was very authoritative to the point that when I heard about QatarGate and found out he was involved, I immediately thought he was certainly at the centre of the plot. Of course Morocco will be next, as he was there long before he started defending Qatar’s interests.
