Ambassador Designate of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic Mr. Bah El Mad Abdellah presents his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Dr.Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi.
His Excellency Dr. Mokgweetsi Masisi says Botswana welcomes the new representive of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic Mr.Bah El Mad Abdellah.
President Masisi congratulated Ambassador Abdella on his appointment adding Botswana and Western Sahara have a long established relationship founded on shared values of mutual respect and the rule of law.
His Excellency Dr.Masisi said Botswana recognises Sahrawi as a sovereign state and a full member of the African Union including the International community.
He further said Botswana rebuffs any attempt to undermine the territorial intergrity, soverignty and independence of the people of Sahrawi and its country.
