anovademocracia.com.br.- The ambassador of Western Sahara and representative of the Polisario Front in Brazil, Dr. Ahmed Mulay Ali Hamad, was alongside the vice president of the Brazil-Palestine Institute (Ibraspal), Sayid Tenório, at an event organized by the construction nucleus of the International Anti-Imperialist League in Goiânia (LAI) on May 9.
The debate’s central theme was the Sahrawi Cause and the Palestinian Cause as part of the anti-imperialist struggle. In addition to the special guests, another 10 people attended the event, which took place at the Journalists’ Union (SindJor) of Goiás.
The speakers highlighted how the Armed Resistance of the Sahrawi People against the Moroccan State Monarchy represents an important liberation struggle of an entire people against a semi-colonial State at the service of European imperialism and discussed the importance of the Palestinian anti-imperialist struggle today.
