Sahrawi protests against the entry into El Aaiun of Moroccans during general confinement

PUSL.- According to information from the Ministry of Occupied Territories in Western Sahara in the past 24 hours, the Moroccan occupation state has exceptionally authorized a group of more than 25 people to enter El Aaiun, capital of Western Sahara. According to Moroccan sources, these are sailors who were allowed to go from the city of Agadir to the occupied territories, after the intervention of influential people from the Moroccan state.

Despite massive campaigns to condemn this displacement at a time when mandatory confinement was declared, the occupation authorities allowed them to enter the occupied city of El Aaiún and then go to the port in the southwest of the city – Playa – where a a group of individuals organised a protest, as an expression of their rejection of this gesture that threatens the life of the Saharawi in the occupied territories. Moroccan repressive forces dispersed the demonstrators using force and threats.
